Daily Verse

1 Timothy 6:12 ESV
Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
Paul reminds Timothy that the Christian life is not passive—it is a daily, purposeful battle. The “good fight” is not against people but against sin, temptation, discouragement, and anything that seeks to draw us away from Christ. The strength to persevere does not come from our own determination alone, but from the grace and power of God working within us. Believers are called to hold firmly to the hope of eternal life, allowing that eternal perspective to shape every decision and response.
Application: When challenges arise, remember that every act of obedience, every faithful prayer, and every step of trust is part of fighting the good fight. Rather than focusing on the difficulty of the battle, keep your eyes on the One who has already secured the victory through Christ. Stand firm in your faith, live consistently with the gospel you have professed, and let the promise of eternal life give you courage and endurance each day.
