In short: we don't track you, we don't show ads, and we never sell or share your information.

Reading the site
You can read everything on this site without signing up or telling us who you are. We don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
Daily verse notifications
If you turn on the daily verse notifications, your phone or browser gives us a delivery address for notifications. That address comes from Apple, Google, Mozilla, or Microsoft, depending on your device. We store that address and the codes needed to send to it, and nothing else. We don't get your name, email, phone number, or location.
We use it only to send one notification each morning with that day's verse.
To stop them, tap Turn off daily verse notifications at the bottom of any page, and your address is deleted. If you turn notifications off in your phone's settings or remove the app instead, the address stops working and we delete it automatically.
Contact form
When you send a message through the contact page, your name, email address, and message are emailed to us so we can reply. We don't add you to any mailing list.
Saved on your device
If you install the app, pages you've opened are saved on your phone so you can read them without internet. The site also remembers on your device whether you closed the "Add this site to your phone" suggestion, so it doesn't keep asking. This stays on your device and isn't sent to us. Clearing your browser's website data removes it.
Services that help run the site
Like any website, pages and images are delivered by other companies' computers, which see basic technical details such as your IP address while doing so:
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores notification sign-ups.
- Contentful stores our posts, verses, and images.
- Google Fonts provides the lettering used on the site.
- Microsoft displays PowerPoint files when you view one on a resource page.
- Resend delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
- Apple, Google, Mozilla, or Microsoft deliver notifications to your device, if you turn them on.
