iPhone or iPad
- Open howgodspeakstous.com in Safari (the blue compass app).
- Tap the Share button : a square with an arrow pointing up. On iPhone it's at the bottom of the screen; on iPad it's at the top.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen .
- Tap Add in the top corner. The icon will appear on your home screen.
Don't see "Add to Home Screen"? Make sure you're in Safari, not another app's built-in browser.
Android
- Open howgodspeakstous.com in Chrome.
- Tap the menu button (three dots) in the top-right corner.
- Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Tap Install to confirm. The icon will appear on your home screen.
Get the Daily Verse Each Morning
Once the app is on your home screen, you can get a notification each morning at 7am Central time with that day's verse. Tap it to read the full devotional.
One notification at 7am Central time. Turn it off anytime.
You'll get the daily verse each morning.
Notifications are turned off for this site. To get the daily verse each morning, allow notifications for How God Speaks To Us in your phone or browser settings, then come back to this page.
On iPhone, add this site to your home screen first, then open it from there to turn on the daily verse each morning.
Show me howDaily verse notifications need iOS 16.4 or newer. You can update in Settings, then General, then Software Update.
Good to know
- The app shows the newest verse whenever you're connected to the internet.
- Pages you've already opened can be read without internet.
- To stop the morning notifications, tap Turn off daily verse notifications on this page or at the bottom of any page.
- To remove it, press and hold the icon, then choose Remove or Uninstall.
