Psalm 57:2-3 ESV
I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me. He will send from heaven and save me; he will put to shame him who tramples on me. Selah God will send out his steadfast love and his faithfulness!
Psalm 57:2–3 reminds us that when life feels uncertain or overwhelming, we can cry out to the God who not only hears us but is actively working out His purposes in our lives. David’s confidence was not based on his circumstances changing immediately, but on the character of God—His faithfulness, His mercy, and His ability to save.
For us, this is an invitation to trust God even when we cannot yet see the outcome. We can bring Him our fears, frustrations, and needs with confidence, knowing that He is faithful to accomplish what concerns us. Our circumstances may feel unstable, but God’s love and faithfulness remain steady.
