Daily Verse

Proverbs 11:18 contrasts the temporary rewards of wrongdoing with the lasting reward of righteousness. Deception may seem profitable for a season, but anything built on dishonesty is unstable. By contrast, a life that consistently “sows righteousness” produces a harvest that is dependable because it is rooted in God’s ways.

The verse is also a reminder that our daily choices are seeds. Integrity, kindness, faithfulness, and obedience may not always bring immediate results, but God sees what is being planted. The challenge is to choose what is right even when the reward is delayed, trusting God with the harvest.
