Colossians 3:4 ESV
When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Colossians 3:4 reminds us that Christ is not merely part of our lives—He is our life. Our deepest identity, hope, and future are found in Him. What the world sees now is incomplete; one day, when Christ appears, believers will share fully in His glory.
This gives us perspective for today. Success, possessions, recognition, and even present struggles are temporary. Because our future with Christ is secure, we can live with confidence and invest ourselves in what has eternal value.
Daily application: Ask yourself, “Does the way I’m living today show that Christ truly is my life?” Let that truth shape your priorities, decisions, relationships, and response to difficulty.
