Galatians 6:1-2 ESV
Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:1–2 reminds us that Christian maturity is seen not only in how we handle our own struggles, but in how we respond to the struggles of others. When someone falls, our calling is not condemnation but gentle restoration, with humility about our own weaknesses.
Bearing one another’s burdens means entering into someone else’s difficulty with compassion, prayer, encouragement, and practical support. In doing so, we reflect the love of Christ.
Daily application: Look for one person today who may be carrying something heavy, and ask God how you can help lighten the load.
