1 Corinthians 3:19-21 ESV
For the wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness,” and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” So let no one boast in men. For all things are yours,
God reminds us that the wisdom of this world is foolishness in His sight. Human knowledge, accomplishments, and recognition may have value, but they cannot compare to God's eternal truth. Paul challenges us to resist pride and placing our confidence in human understanding. True wisdom begins with humility—recognizing that everything we have and accomplish comes from God. Rather than boasting in ourselves or others, we should seek His guidance, trust His wisdom, and give Him the glory in all things.
